Brenda L. Murray is a freelance writer who winters in balmy southern Ontario and migrates with her three children to a spot just outside of Algonquin Park for the summer.

During the summer months she spends every waking moment outdoors on the lookout for any sign of Canadian wildlife and, of course, feeding her young with dishes cooked over a two-burner cookstove or the hot coals of her campfire.
