Linda Ffrench was born in London, Ontario, Canada. She was raised and went to school in the country west of London, and attended high school in the city of London. After high school she moved to the Toronto area and worked in various places. She raised a family and worked until she was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis, arthritis and other medical disorders. She began to miss work and the mobility of walking long distances, so started writing out her frustrations daily.
