The plan is simple. Together, let's get your book ready to print to the market. This process begins from you providing Volumes with a digital computer file suitable for our on-demand process. We receive your file and output an electronic proof. As a self-published author, you must edit and proofread your work as each proof is completed. Once the final alterations have been made, we resend the electronic file for you to see the end results.
- Co-ordinate and arrange an International Standard Book Number (ISBN)
- Design an EAN barcode
- Format and design copyright page layout
- Include a copyright notice intended to protect authors rights in all copies of the book produced
- Send (2) copies to the National Library
- Provide accounting of sales and royalties on a monthly basis through an on-line distribution icon
- Create an electronic master of the book, either through scanning the supplied paper original or from a supplied electronic file or a combination of the two methods
- Design a front and back cover of the book
- Produce a complete bound proof and submit for authors review
- Make necessary changes to the authors proof
- Archive the book for future ordering
- Sell books to author at cost
